User tips
A banner has many faces. It can be a representative standard-bearer for a company, or it can function as a themed promotional tool or a festive eye-catcher; there are countless uses.
Faber Flags is happy to help you choose a product tailored to your needs.
Request criteria
What should you take into consideration? What we want to know from you.
-
Where the banner will hang, i.e. indoors, outdoors and where.
-
If possible, we would like to know the dimensions — See the 'Designs' section in the submenu.
-
The type of printing, i.e full shades, raster colour or full colour.
-
The number of colours, based on printing on standard white fabric.
-
The number of banners you require, or a pricing row. We can supply goods from a quantity of 1 unit.
-
Fire safety. Should we request flame-retardant treatment? This depends on your feeling of responsibility or on fire safety regulations. Please specify this option in your request or order. Once we have produced the goods, it is no longer possible.
Practical tips
-
Roll a banner instead of folding it. That way you avoid creases.
-
If the banner is dirty, wash it at a low temperature of 40-60 degrees Celsius.
-
If the hanging fittings are made from aluminium tubes, you don't need to reorder them for a subsequent order. All you have to change is the banner.
-
Cut edges look neater/tighter than hemmed edges.
-
Have indoor banners treated with a flame retardant — see the submenu.
-
If an indoor banner is hung at a distance, a coarser raster is more effective than a fine raster (more than raster 10). This is due to the perception of the point widening.
-
There are dozens of finishing options and designs.
Go to 'Finishing/sewing' in the submenu or ask for advice from our sales department.
