There are different grades of fabric, each with their own specific properties. You can download the separate product sheets from 'Relevant information' on the right to obtain extensive and complete information.
The most popular fabric types for flags are listed below:
Supralon glossy polyester — the best-selling flag fabric
This is the best-selling flag fabric. A 3-strand, 100% polyester flag fabric. The high tear resistance and elasticity of this flag fabric make it supremely suitable for all flags for day time and night time use. The flag is light, flutters quickly and dries quickly. The fabric is suitable for all kinds of printing, including full-colour photo printing.
Titan spun polyester — for tough weather conditions or a traditional appearance
Woven full polyester nautical flag fabric; the strongest fabric type on the market. Unbeaten on tensile strength and tear resistance. It is mainly used for extreme conditions, i.e. heights of 20 metres or more, by the sea, on ships (effects of salt), locations subject to above average wind forces.
Polystretch
Elastic polyester flag fabric, specially developed for vertical flags. The wind forces are distributed through the special perforated structure and elasticity. 25% longer (visual) lifespan. Can be used for flagpole flags up to 150 x 200 cm and ALL VERTICAL FLAGS.
Trilobe
High-gloss fabric, heavier than Supralon, absorbs 50% more colouring agent. This leads to excellent colour impact. It is also better for full-colour photo images.
