How strong is your brand?

Practical tips for flags and outdoor banners.

Flags or outdoor banners that are exposed to wind and other inclement weather are subjected to wear and tear. You cannot influence these elements.  What you can do is choose the right fabric type and/or finishing option, because these can really make a difference to the lifespan of your flag or banner.

What is the average wind force?
What is the height of the flagpole and/or the flying height?
Are there trees or walls in the vicinity?
What will be the effect of air pollution or salt?
These are important influencing factors when it comes to lifespan.

We do everything we can to optimise the lifespan of your flag or banner. All fabric grades have been carefully tested for compliance with the highest lightfastness and weatherfastness, tensile resistance and tear resistance. These values are known to us in advance, and we are happy to share are knowledge with you. You can request this information from us at any time. TIPS TO MAKE YOUR FLAGS LAST LONGER

Use:

• Lower the flag or banner every evening.
• Let the flag flutter freely
  (not too close to trees or other obstacles).
• Repair damage promptly. Repair frays as soon as possible.

Washing:

• Wash regularly at a low temperature of 40-60° Celsius
  (with washing detergent for synthetic textiles).
• Soak beforehand for a night with biological prewash, rinse well with lukewarm water.
• Do not have it cleaned chemically. Never use substances that contain chlorine or bleaching agents.
