There are different grades of fabric, each with their own specific properties. You can download the separate product sheets from 'Relevant information' on the right to obtain extensive and complete information.
The most popular fabric types for street banners are listed below:
Supralon glossy polyester
A 3-strand, 100% polyester knit with high-quality glossy yarns.
The high tear resistance and elasticity of this flag fabric make it supremely suitable for day time and night time use. There is no limit to how many times the fabric can be washed, and it dries quickly.
It is suitable for all kinds of printing, including full-colour photo printing.
Non-woven
Made from 100% polyester fibres that are compacted under high pressure. It is supplied on the roll, which allows you to cut as required and then nail, staple or glue the banner, or stretch it out.
Single-side line work, in raster colour or full colour. Competitively priced and available in various weight grades.
Raytex DM
Raytex DM is finer in structure and knitted, but otherwise has the same properties as Supralon GLA. This makes it a better basis for detailed printing and full-colour photo printing.
Plasticised polyester/PVC
Double-coated polyester weave that can be printed on both sides or just one. The polyester hem prevents the material from being transparent, so there is no trouble printing the street banner on both sides. A perfect basis for full colour printing.
